Electrical MEP Engineer
Fort Lauderdale, FL Area
Mid-size consulting/engineering firm is seeking a skilled Electrical MEP Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects from concept through construction.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop electrical systems for building projects (power, lighting, distribution)
- Produce construction documents, specifications, and calculations
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural disciplines
- Perform field reviews and support construction administration
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
- 5 years of electrical MEP building systems design experience
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience working in a consulting engineering environment
- Knowledge of NEC and applicable building codes
- EIT or PE preferred (not required)
- US citizen or green card a must.
