What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Project Manager position at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc?
We're partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead land development and site civil engineering projects in the Trenton, NJ area. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys managing projects, building client relationships, and helping grow a successful practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
- Lead project teams and oversee design, permitting, and production efforts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and proposals.
- Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Identify new business opportunities and support business development efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to help expand the firm's presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10 years of civil engineering and project management experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven experience managing land development or site civil projects.
- Strong business development and client relationship management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering design software is preferred.
