Key Responsibilities:
- Layout and wire control panels and backplanes for automated systems
- Install and connect PLCs, HMIs, drives, and motors
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and BOMs
- Perform panel modifications, drilling, and layout using hand and power tools
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality and safety compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or design-related issues during assembly
- Support equipment installations, including travel up to 25%
- Work independently and assist in other production areas as needed
- Experience wiring industrial control components (PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must provide basic personal electrical tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10-hour shifts)
- Perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Comfortable working in various industrial environments (hot, cold, dusty, etc.)
