Civil Engineering Project Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX — In Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
A growing engineering and land development firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee projects from initial proposal through design, permitting, and construction.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, proposals, and client deliverables.
- Lead civil design and coordinate with engineers, drafters, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and review civil construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Oversee grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, and utility design.
- Coordinate project approvals and permitting with local authorities.
- Prepare cost estimates and monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Review plans and deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Mentor and manage design staff and delegate project tasks.
- Maintain strong client relationships and assist with business development.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years of land development experience.
- 2 years of project management experience.
- 3 years of Civil 3D experience.
- P.E. license in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and land development.
- Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects and lead a design team.
