Liberty National Bank is looking for an experienced lending professional to join our team in Elk Point, South Dakota. With our headquarters in Sioux City, Iowa, and eight locations across Iowa and South Dakota, we are proud to combine the personal relationships of community banking with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Build and manage relationships with agricultural, commercial, and consumer lending customers.
• Analyze loan requests and financial information in accordance with Bank lending policies and procedures.
• Proactively monitor loan performance and identify potential credit concerns.
• Develop new lending and deposit relationships while expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Identify opportunities to connect customers with additional Bank products and services.
• Provide responsive, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Bank to support our customers and contribute to the Bank’s continued growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Five or more years of lending, credit, banking, or related experience.
• Strong financial analysis and credit judgment skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A customer-focused approach and an interest in business development.
• Ability to work independently while being an effective member of a team.
