What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Executive Underwriter, GTS position at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group?
Contribute to the R&Ws Insurance development in the Latin America Region. Employer will accept a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Law or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr Executive Underwriter, GTS-related occupation. JD (or foreign equivalent) required. Admitted to practice Law in at least one Latin America Jurisdiction required. Underwriting highly technical risks. M&A transactions and concepts. Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and related documentation. Legal M&A experience in the Latin America region. Demonstrated understanding of key legal trends in the Latin America region. Underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures. Drafting and negotiating Insurance Policies and related documentation. Proved experience in Insurance and Reinsurance. Demonstrated understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance concepts and regulations in Latin America and the US. Insurance regulatory experience in the Latin America region. Building and maintaining key broker, customer and vendor relationships both domestically and in the Latin America region. Travel required up to 50% (50% international and 50% US travel). Telecommuting permitted up to 50%.
