What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior / Lead Financial Analyst - Tech Finance position at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group?
Prepare standardized reports and analyses in accordance with prescribed procedures. Perform and present variance analyses (e.g. plan vs. actual and forecast, multi-year trends) to senior Tech leadership. Identify significant items requiring further investigation. Perform follow-up investigation and suggest problem resolution. Perform cost benefit analyses on strategies and contracts to help inform technology leaders and procurement partners on key decision-making events. Build multi-year forecasting in partnership with technology teams. Ensure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all reports and analyses produced by maintaining full documentation of recurring job duties as well as data sources and assumptions employed. Documentation should be amended to reflect any changes in job functions. Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to processes, controls and technology systems related to functions being performed. Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required. CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results. Communicates well with own team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals. Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail. Solid understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods.
