Provides, builds, and maintains data solutions to meet the needs of the enterprise and helps ensure those solutions can be scaled appropriately. Designs proof-of-concept solutions utilizing a comprehensive understanding of multiple coding languages to meet technical and business requirements, with an ability to perform iterative solution testing to ensure specifications are met. Designs and develops data solutions that enables effective self-service data consumption and can describe their value to the customer. Works with stakeholders in defining metrics that are impactful to the business. Working with IT, assists in building robust systems focusing on long-term and ongoing maintenance and support. Ensure data solutions include deliverables required to achieve high quality data. Works with IT to help scale prototypes. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Data Solutions Analyst-related occupation. Coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments, including working in NoSQL implementation, ETL, Java, scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell), and the Hadoop stack. Developing with top quadrant Business Intelligence tools. Applying knowledge of data formats, including CSV, JSON, and Parquet. Big Data and Cloud Services including Cortex, AWS, and Snowflake. Insurance Rating tools, including Ratabase and Earnix. Data Quality and Version Control Best Practices. Telecommuting permitted up to 60% Multiple Positions Available.
