Data Adoption & Business Engagement Partner directly with analysts, portfolio managers, risk managers, and finance users to understand how they access, interpret, and use data today. Identify gaps, inconsistencies, incorrect consumption patterns, and friction points in current data access and workflows. Drive adoption of governed datasets, data catalog tools, and Gen-AI capabilities. Establish and manage clear engagement and intake processes between the Data Office and business teams. Develop onboarding materials, quick-start guides, and practical training that help users get value quickly. Communicate data product improvements and changes in clear, business-relevant terms. Work with Data Governance, GIS, and investment teams to define ownership, access controls, and maintenance expectations. Collaborate with technology partners to build the roadmap for consolidating document assets into a centralized platform. Ensure centralized documents are structured, governed, and ready to support Gen-AI-enabled analytics, research, and decision support. Ensure a continuous improvement cycle where user input directly shapes the data product roadmap. Deliver regular, concise updates to leadership on adoption progress, friction points, and improvement actions. Execute on additional Data Office priorities as they arise, including cross-functional programs, governance rollouts, and enablement campaigns. Significant experience in data management, data product management, business analysis, or a related field within financial services or investment management. Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into action. Track record of driving adoption of data tools, platforms, or analytics capabilities. Experience with unstructured data management, document centralization, or content management initiatives. Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data catalogs, and modern data platforms. Strong communication skills with the ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical audiences. Self-directed executor who can manage multiple workstreams without waiting for direction.
