We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Assistant to join our team part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right individual. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operational tasks, ensuring smooth order processing, and providing top-tier support to both our clients and internal teams.
Once fully trained and able to perform key responsibilities independently, the Operations Assistant will be eligible to receive commission in addition to their base pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book freight orders accurately and on time
- Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates as needed
- Communicate with carriers and customers to resolve issues proactively
- Prepare customer invoices promptly
- Perform accurate data entry
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational processes
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry is a plus
