THE TYPE OF COMMERCIAL SALES TEAM MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• 5 years of sales experience, preferably in commercial moving, logistics, transportation, or business services
• Previous management or supervisory experience leading a sales team
• Proven success in business development and revenue growth
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to build long-term client and strategic partner relationships
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Experience with estimating, pricing structures, proposals, and commercial moving operations (highly preferred)

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR COMMERCIAL SALES TEAM MANAGER

In this role, you'll lead the commercial sales team while serving as a driving force behind business expansion efforts. You'll set goals and territories, conduct coaching sessions, monitor performance metrics, recruit and develop team members, and implement strategies that increase revenue and market share. Your days will involve prospecting, networking, attending industry events, managing lead pipelines, building relationships with commercial clients and procurement organizations, and identifying new opportunities for growth. You'll oversee proposals, presentations, RFP responses, pricing structures, contracts, COIs, job costing, and commercial moving estimates while coordinating closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure projects move smoothly from the sales process into execution. Additionally, you'll maintain CRM reporting, forecast future opportunities, support marketing initiatives, and oversee departmental scheduling and timekeeping.
