The Sales Account Specialist will play a key role in supporting Liberty Marking Systems’ sales growth by combining proactive new business development with dedicated account management. This position is responsible for outbound selling across Liberty’s full product portfolio, supporting several top strategic accounts, and managing a group of mid-size customers that require consistent yet light-touch relationship management. Top Account Support
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for approximately 8–10 of Liberty’s key accounts managed by the Director of Sales.
- Handle order follow-up, quoting, and coordination with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide exceptional service to strengthen and retain long-term relationships.
New Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across Liberty’s full range of labeling products, thermal transfer ribbons, and equipment.
- Manage the entire inside sales cycle from prospecting to quoting to closing.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools.
Mid-Size Account Management
- Manage 20–30 existing mid-size accounts, focusing on steady communication, quoting support, and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain accurate account information.
Sales Operations & Collaboration
- Keep CRM/ERP systems updated with account activity and progress.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Estimating, and Production to deliver excellent service.
- Contribute feedback and insights to support sales strategy and customer experience improvements.
• 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service (manufacturing or industrial sales preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and follow-up.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (Microsoft Access experience a plus).
• Base Salary: $52,000 – $62,000
• On-Target Earnings: $65,000 – $78,000 (base commission/bonus)
