Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of apartment community facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. The ideal candidate should be HVAC and EPA certified.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct residential painting, drywall repairs, carpentry work, and other general repairs to maintain property appearance.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders.
- Facilitate maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits with tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting, and general repair work.
- Must possess own tools such as hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Clean out and repair knowledge of vacant residences. (Flip)
