Resident Fitness Coach — Temporary Full Time

In this rewarding role, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with residents while creating engaging fitness and wellness experiences that support an active lifestyle.
What You’ll Do
As a Resident Fitness Coach, you will help our Independent Living residents stay active, engaged, and motivated by:

Planning, preparing, and leading group fitness classes for older adults

Instructing and coordinating water fitness/aquatic exercise classes

Assisting residents in the community fitness center

Providing friendly, professional support and encouragement to residents

Creating a welcoming and positive environment that promotes health, wellness, mobility, and physical activity
Schedule

Full Time
-
Monday–Friday
-
8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Evenings as needed
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, organized, and enjoys working with older adults. Qualifications include:

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
A positive, encouraging approach to fitness and wellness
-
Previous experience working with older adults is preferred
-
Experience leading group fitness, senior fitness, aquatic exercise, or wellness programs is a plus
