What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locksmith position at Liberty Lock & Key?
We are seeking an Entry-Level Locksmith Technician to join our team. In this role, you will do hands-on training alongside our experienced technicians. You will learn how to install, repair, and bypass various locking mechanisms for residential, commercial, and automotive clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and interacting with people.
What You Will Learn & Do
- Install, repair, and replace residential and commercial door hardware and locks
- Gain proficiency in automotive lockouts, key generation, and transponder programming
- Cut keys, re-key locks, and master-key cylinders
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to clients in the field
- Maintain and organize company tools, equipment, and inventory in your service
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required for driving company vehicles)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
