Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Missouri and Kansas responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across the hotel portfolio. This role leads property-level management teams, ensures operational and brand standards are met, and drives improvements in efficiency, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. Daily activities include monitoring P&L performance, setting and reviewing operating metrics, coordinating cross-functional projects, supervising any renovation work or PIPs and implementing strategies that align with company goals. The Vice President Operations collaborates with leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, supports brand and service initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This position also focuses on coaching and mentoring leaders, fostering a positive workplace culture, and responding to key customer and stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Project Management to oversee multiple properties and initiatives effectively.
- Strong P&L Management skills to analyze financial performance, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
- Proficiency in Customer Service practices to uphold high guest satisfaction and handle escalated service concerns.
- Experience with Strategic Planning to develop, implement, and measure long-term operational and growth strategies.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail and execution.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, lodging, or a service-focused industry; multi-property oversight experience is preferred.
- Experience with renovations or PIPs including verifying quality of work performed before payment and supervising work done by subcontractors.
