What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Analyst position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Performs primary data abstraction for NCDR and STS registries, and core measures. Ensures high levels of abstraction accuracy for assigned measures via validation. Demonstrates strong communication, documentation, organizing, and planning skills to ensure strong leadership of multiple registries and measures.
Required Education/Training: RN
Required Experience: Minimum three (3) years of clinical/healthcare experience
Preferred Education/Training: BS, MBA, MHA, Six Sigma or Lean Training
Preferred Experience: Database management, chart auditing experience, leading teams, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, statistical software programs, and working knowledge of healthcare regulations (CMS and TJC); performance improvement methodologies and balanced scorecard; experience in cardiac registry, Get With the Guidelines registry and core measures; experience with at least one of the following registries: NCDR-CathPCI, NCDR-ICD, GWTG-Stroke, GWTG-HF, Chest Pain-MI, and/or STS
