What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Technologist position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Administers roentgen rays to patients according to age specific needs. Operates Mammography, Bone Densitometry and Ultrasound equipment. Prepares patient room, equipment, supplies, and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Performs/instructs patients on BSE. Performs DEXA and breast ultrasound exams.
Required Education/Training: Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; mammography certified within 6 month of hire/transfer; BLS
