What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiology Transporter position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Transports patients to and from the Cardiology Department according to patient-specific needs. Assists staff in basic care needs. Assists in preparing the patient for procedures including positioning the patient and room and/or equipment preparation.
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Heartsaver BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
Preferred Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience: Patient transport experience; patient care experience
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
