What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Cath Lab RN position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Assist physician during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures; responsible for patient preparation, making sure room is set up properly, and operation of highly sophisticated imaging, monitoring and data recording equipment. Assumes a primary responsibility for the well being of the patient.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing program
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS; ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Education/Training: BSN/MSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Recent cath lab or interventional radiology experience; critical care or emergency room experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: CCRN, RCIS, or RCES certification
