Role Description
We are seeking a Billing Specialist for a full-time, on-site role located in New Britain, CT. The Billing Specialist will manage and oversee various billing processes, including preparing and issuing invoices, ensuring accuracy in Sandata billing, and collaborating with other departments to resolve any discrepancies. The role requires maintaining accurate accounting records, communicating effectively with clients regarding their accounts, and ensuring timeliness in payments and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Billing Processes, Invoicing, and Medicaid and Sandata billing
- Strong Communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively
- Experience or knowledge in Accounting and related principles
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy
- Proficiency in relevant billing software is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field is preferred
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented on-site environment
