LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE COUNSELOR FOR HIGH SCHOOL
POSITION SUMMARY: This long-term substitute teacher position will cover a staff leave of absence for the High School Counselor. The position will begin March 2, 2026 and will continue through the end of the 2025-26 school year, currently set for June 10, 2026, 7.5 hours per day. The position is not eligible for medical, dental, and retirement benefits.
INTERESTED APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
- Must hold a current Washington State teaching certificate with ESA endorsement in Counseling
- Ability to operate within a wide range of student personalities and backgrounds
- Education in various models of teaching, best counseling practices and regulations
- Proficiency with computers
- Experience with secondary level education related counseling preferred

SALARY: $150.00/day for first 20 consecutive days and then placement on Liberty School District certificated salary schedule: $50,841 – $101,180
