HVAC Service & Installation Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and efficient operation of their systems. Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC/R systems to ensure peak performance
• Diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment; repair or replace faulty components
• Conduct field service visits for emergency repairs, system upgrades, or property maintenance requests
• Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for proper system installation and repair
• Utilize welding skills when necessary for equipment repair or custom fabrication projects
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance environments
• Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles and schematics reading
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and appliance repair is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and HVAC/R equipment is essential
• Field service experience with a focus on air conditioning systems and equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely
• Familiarity with welding techniques, boiler systems, and mechanical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters is preferred
• Strong understanding of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
