Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a Program Manager position with our organization’s forensic mental health program in Riverside County.
This program exclusively serves justice-involved adults who are experiencing mental illness and have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial.
Services are provided to clients who are adult inmates at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning and the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
As Liberty Healthcare’s Program Manager, you will enjoy a mix of management and direct care clinical responsibilities which include:
- Managing an efficient and effective forensic mental health delivery system within the two jails
- Supervising clinical and ancillary staff
- Leading an outcomes-focused program and promoting a high-performance culture
- Ensuring program clients receive person-centered care and high-quality mental health services
- Liaising with an array of stakeholders within law enforcement agencies, county courts, criminal justice departments, and public health agencies
- Providing direct clinical services to program clients one-to-one and in-person
As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:
- Annual salary between $125,000 and $140,000 (depending on qualifications)

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:
- Professional licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Clinical Psychologist
- At least two years of experience in a forensic mental health or correctional setting
- Knowledge of best practices in the treatment of people who are experiencing serious mental illness
- Leadership experience
