About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time, night shift basis. As an LPN at Liberty Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to patients, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, adhering to the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, monitoring their work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Notify attending physicians of emergencies and patient deaths in the unit, implementing changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of license renewal every other year.
- A genuine interest in geriatric nursing and ability to provide quality care to patients, following doctors' orders.
