Job Description:
As a MEDICATION TECHNICIAN (CNA), you will provide medication administration for residents in a safe and timely manner. Key responsibilities include taking orders, documenting orders, ordering medications, receiving medications, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
In addition to medication administration, the successful candidate will perform all procedures of good nursing care such as taking vital signs, giving enemas and suppositories, etc. You will also be responsible for maintaining excellent universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
Effective communication is crucial in this role. You will communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure quality nursing and medication orders. Your attention to detail and ability to remain alert to the needs of residents are essential in this position.
Salary : $42,000 - $72,000
