Job Summary
- Receive advance agency staffing requests and open shifts from facility schedulers and maintain ongoing communication with facility schedulers and leadership regarding staffing needs.
- Ensure all agency shifts are filled in a timely manner and aligned with organizational staffing strategies. Confirm and communicate filled shifts back to facility schedulers in timely manner.
- Prioritize filling shifts with Freedom Staffing employees before engaging external agencies. Directly schedule external agency staff when Freedom resources are unavailable.
- Reinforce scheduling expectations, timelines, and compliance with Liberty staffing processes.
- Access and analyze Genesis and Freedom Staffing Scheduling Platform labor reports to identify staffing gaps, trends, and opportunities. Monitor open shift timelines and ensure alignment with required advance posting expectations.
- Support workforce leadership with insights related to agency utilization and staffing efficiency.
- Maintain ongoing communication with facility schedulers and leadership regarding staffing needs.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- High school graduate
- Familiar with long-term care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting and regulatory environment.
- At least two years of experience with scheduling clinical roles (i.e., nurses, certified nursing assistants) preferred.
- High degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and work well with others.
- Team player with a positive and considerate attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Computer knowledge and experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
