We are seeking a skilled License Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services for our unit, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, while monitoring their work performance. Additionally, you will observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition, and notify the attending physician of emergencies or death of patients in the unit.
To qualify for this position, you must have a high school diploma and be a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. You must also hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year. Furthermore, you will be required to complete in-service training and attend staff meetings as necessary.
