Job Description
- Maintains general petty cash and patient funds according to procedures.
- Maintains all patients files in accurate, easily retrievable manner.
- Vouches all invoices, per established procedure, and sends to Central Accounts Payable office for processing.
- Takes patient payments and receipts money/makes deposits when necessary.
- Makes family members and residents feel comfortable when discussing financial affairs.
- Prepares necessary forms and materials in accordance with established procedures for admissions, discharges, changes in status and reviews.
- Prepares outgoing mail and sorts all incoming mail and forwards mail to family members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School graduate.
- Computer Knowledge and experience.
- Medicare and Medicaid billing knowledge helpful.
- Ability to work well under pressure and cooperate well with others.
- Willingness to take orders and problem solve.
- Must read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies.
- Valid N.C. Driver’s license.
