Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a full-time Commercial Construction Lending Specialist. The candidate must be detail-oriented and provide an exceptional member and builder/developer experience. Commercial construction lending experience is preferred. - Perform all aspects of the construction draw process during the construction phase, including,
- Setting up construction parameters specific to each loan
- Process draw requests when received
- Communicate with the member and builder/developer throughout the construction process
- Monitor the use of construction loan funds
- Order and review updates provided by third party vendors
- Maintain records of payments to third party vendors
- Perform daily loan maintenance, monitor exceptions, and update reports
- Collect and file financial information from clients
- Act as the point of contact between lenders and clients as necessary
- Perform research needed to resolve client problems in a timely manner
- Provide excellent service when interacting with employees, members or builders/developers
- Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and policies
