Electrical Foreperson

About the Position

Liberty Electric in Salem, NH is looking for an Electrical Foreperson for projects in NH and the MA Merrimack Valley area. We are a long-established company celebrating our 40th year with a strong reputation for providing high-quality electrical services. Our focus is mainly on commercial, institutional, industrial, and large residential projects as well as solar installation. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as project lead, supervising a team on job sites.
• Analyze project documentation
• Interpret electrical drawings, plans, and project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• OSHA 10 Certified, OSHA 30 preferred
• Electrical License valid for NH and/or MA with ability to obtain in both states of operations
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Deep understanding of electrical codes
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and diagrams
• Experience with commercial and residential writing
• Ability to manage and lead co-workers in accomplishing projects according to schedule
• Organized and detailed in reporting daily construction activities, material purchases, and project progress
• Lay out and plan work, in advance, in accordance with job schedules, plans, and project specifications.
• Team Player. Demonstrated experience as a strong team member with both oral and written communication skills, and solid relationship building skills.
• Works well independently or in a group
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving of your whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs solo/ 100 lbs assisted, balancing, walking, stooping, working on ladders at heights and handling of materials.
• Candidates will need all necessary tools before starting.
