Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Instructional Assistants to join our team for an in-person, in-home position located in Drexel Hill, PA (19026). This role is scheduled for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one instructional support to students with diverse learning needs in their home environment, helping to promote academic growth and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person, one-on-one instruction in the student’s home.
- Assist students with homework, academic assignments, and skill development across subjects such as math, English, science, and social studies.
- Implement individualized learning plans based on student needs, strengths, and learning styles.
- Support positive student engagement and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Utilize effective instructional strategies to reinforce academic concepts.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and educational team members regarding student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, academic performance, and observations.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent services.
- Adhere to all Liberty Education Solutions policies, including confidentiality and child safety requirements.

- FBI Fingerprints (within 1 year)
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check (PATCH – within 1 year)
- Child Abuse Clearance (within 1 year)
- Act 24
- Transcript or Diploma
- Mandated Reporter Training
- All Act 168 documentation
- TB Test
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required
- Prior experience working with students in an educational or support role preferred
- Familiarity with instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, reliability, and professionalism
- Reliable transportation to Drexel Hill, PA (19026) for in-home services
