Role and Responsibilities- This is a Leadership ROLE
As a District Manager at Liberty Disposal Inc. you will play a critical role in overseeing and driving operational excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include managing daily operations, driving sales growth, leading customer retention initiatives, and motivating a team to deliver superior safety and service standards.
You will act as the key link between Liberty Disposal and our clients, ensuring that all waste management services are delivered efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
COMPENSATION:
· Salary Range: $85,000 Base
- Bonus Opportunity: Up to $24,000 ($6,000 per quarter)
- Bonus modified each quarter based on revenue
- Bonus structure change in Year 2 of employment

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor budget and operating metrics, targeting a minimum of 2% growth each quarter.
- ·Be available to take after-hours calls when necessary.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with Liberty Disposal’s standards and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA).
- Supervise and ensure safety protocols including pre-trip inspections, PPE usage, and compliance audits.
- Manage the maintenance program for a fleet of 25 trucks, ensuring timely preventive maintenance and technician development.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt delivery service and swift resolution of issues.
- Oversee personnel management, including coaching, performance evaluations, discipline, and making recommendations for promotions or terminations.
- · Monitor and manage compliance with the Districts Drug and Alcohol program.
- · Hire and onboard new personnel in coordination with Human Resources.
- · Collaborate with the Operations Manager to supervise up to 25 employees.
- · Foster a positive and engaged work environment to enhance employee morale and skill development.
- Work with the Outreach Department to identify and secure new customers.
- Participate in monthly P&L reviews and adjust expenditures as necessary to meet budget targets.
- Attend weekly company leadership meetings to review operational, personnel, and financial matters.
- Engage in quarterly and annual strategic planning meetings.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly training sessions to enhance leadership, operations, and compliance knowledge.
- Build and maintain a professional network within the waste management industry to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience in the waste management or transportation industry a plus.
- Public speaking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be eligible to obtain federal security clearance.

Work environment
