Maintenance Support

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with a little flexibility)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
• Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
• Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Handles necessary repairs and maintenance and installs equipment and appliances.
• Follows local and state building codes and complies with all company safety regulations.
• Reports any issues to the maintenance manager or upper management. .
• Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or upper management.
• Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
• Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

• Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have one (1) year of maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to adhere to a specific dress code.
• Must be able to work outside of normal work hours
• Must be able to plan work independently and in collaboration with other employees.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Stand and walk short distances most of the working day.
• Bends, reaches, and lifts equipment.
• Lift up and transport items up to 100 lbs. or more.
• Consistently exercises full range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• May experience frequent temperature changes due to weather fluctuations.
• Frequent use of sharp, electrically powered, and heavy materials and equipment.
• Subject to exposure loud noise, electrical shocks and currents, hazardous chemicals, gases, and noxious odors.
