Role Description The Director of Assets, Infrastructure & Capital Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Hinesville, GA. This role oversees LCDA’s physical assets, infrastructure planning, and capital project execution from concept through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing facility maintenance, coordinating infrastructure improvements, and ensuring assets are maintained in alignment with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. The director leads project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight, while monitoring progress, risk, and quality for all capital initiatives. This position collaborates with internal leadership, public agencies, and private partners to support industrial development, optimize resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in asset management, facilities administration, and infrastructure planning.
- Proficiency in capital project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor/vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of construction practices, engineering concepts, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making in a public or industrial development context.
- Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills with public and private partners.
- Experience with project management software and basic office productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, public administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPM, facilities management) are beneficial.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple initiatives, and work on-site with occasional field and site visits.
- Familiarity with economic development, industrial park operations, or public authority environments is a plus.
