What are the responsibilities and job description for the Right of Way Specialist (Land Agent / Easement Acquisition) – Field Based position at Liberty Core Consultants?
Liberty Core Consultants is seeking motivated and professional Midstream Right-of-Way & Operations Specialist to support pipeline and facility projects through Weld County. This role is responsible for coordinating operational activities, permitting efforts, and project documentation to support the successful development, construction, and maintenance of midstream assets. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, landowners, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, negotiation experience, and the ability to work independently in both office and field environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of midstream pipeline and facility projects.
- Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and development review activities with local, county, state, and federal agencies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, landowners, and regulatory stakeholders to support project objectives.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting notes, and regulatory filings.
- Facilitate project meetings and track action items, risks, and resolutions.
- Support environmental compliance efforts, including permitting, surveying, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate land-related activities, including easement documentation, land use permits, and stakeholder communications as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates, submittals, and operational reports.
- Identify project issues and recommend solutions to maintain project schedules and operational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and databases to support project tracking, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Foster positive working relationships with customers, contractors, landowners, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide operational and administrative support to pipeline and facility operations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of midstream operations and project execution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in right-of-way, land acquisition, real estate, or midstream projects preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/database systems
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned project areas
Preferred Qualifications
- IRWA certification
- Experience reading title documents, legal descriptions, and survey exhibits
