Salary: $22,500 (prorated for January–May)
We are hiring a full-time Physical Education Teacher to teach elementary and middle school PE classes from January 2026 through May 2026. This position fills a mid-year vacancy and will step into an already-established program and class routines.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach PE classes for grades K–8
- Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education lessons
- Maintain a safe, structured environment in the gym and outdoor areas
- Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness
- Assist with recess or supervision duties as assigned
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff
- Support school events or activities as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a PE, coaching, or recreation setting (required)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Ability to plan and lead structured physical education activities
- Positive, energetic, and dependable
- Alignment with Christian school values
