Job Title: High School History Teacher

Position Type: Full-Time (January- May)

Liberty Christian Prep seeks a passionate and dedicated High School History Teacher who is committed to academic excellence and Christ-centered education. The ideal candidate is an engaging educator who can bring history to life while upholding the mission, vision, and values of Liberty Christian Prep.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Education, History, Social Studies, or related field preferred).
• Teaching certification or eligibility preferred.
• Prior classroom teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strong classroom management.
• Commitment to integrating a biblical worldview into curriculum and instruction.
• Alignment with Liberty Christian Prep’s mission, values, and statement of faith.

Responsibilities:

• Teach high school history courses in accordance with school curriculum and academic standards.
• Create a positive, orderly, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Develop lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, engagement, and historical understanding.
• Assess student progress through assignments, assessments, and regular feedback.
• Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and school leadership.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
• Support the spiritual development of students through modeling Christian character and integrating biblical principles into daily teaching.

Pay: $23,000.00 per year
