As a Personal Banker, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, providing personalized financial guidance and proactive support across deposit, loan, and account service needs. Essential Functions

· Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients by serving as their primary point of contact for personal banking needs.

· Provide personalized financial guidance across deposit products, loans, and account services to support customers’ financial goals.

· Educate customers on available banking solutions and assist with account maintenance, service requests, and issue resolution.

· Deliver teller support as needed, including processing deposits, payments, withdrawals, and check cashing in compliance with bank policies and procedures.

· Exercise sound judgment and ethical decision‑making in all customer interactions, consistently acting in the best interest of the customer and the bank.

· Maintain accuracy in cash handling, balancing, and daily settlements when performing teller functions.

· Actively manage risk and adhere to all security, compliance, and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.

· Participate in required training to remain current on products, services, policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

· Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through proactive service, referrals, and solution‑based conversations.

Qualifications

· One year of prior banking experience; cash handling experience preferred

· Strong customer service focus with a proven service‑oriented mindset

· Effective organizational and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment

· Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships

· Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Handle frequent customer inquiries via phone and email

Physical Requirement

· This position requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
