Food Service Associate I (Part time 15- 25 hours weekly)

The Food Service Associate I is responsible for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel in an efficient manner, and maintaining the food service facilities in safe and sanitary condition.
The Food Service Associate I is a 10 month position with the option to work during summer school.

Hours
- Monday through Friday
- Daily shifts 3-5 hours per day between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm, depending on school assignment
Pay
$15.52 - $19.48 per hour (based on relevant work experience)
Job Duties
- Prepares and serves nutritious and attractive meals to students, staff and guests.
- Operates a POS system, and processes student meal transactions
- Adheres to all kitchen sanitation policies and procedures, including washing dishes.
- Interacts positively with team, staff members, students and guests.
Requirements
- Food Handlers certificate required within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to push/pull, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
