Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Assistant located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support, prepare legal documents, assist with filing and organization, ensure effective communication between clients and attorneys, and assist attorneys with case management and research as needed. Responsibilities may also include maintaining legal records, scheduling, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Law and experience working in a legal setting
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and ability to handle case filings
- Strong Communication skills for client interactions and internal coordination
- Experience in Administrative Assistance and organizational tasks
- Background in or familiarity with Legal Assistance workflows
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
- Proficiency in legal software and standard office applications
- Experience in medical malpractice or personal injury law is a plus
