Job Description:We are seeking a knowledgeable and staff-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to provide effective support to our internal staff.Key Responsibilities:Respond to staff support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system and provide support remotely or on-site as needed.Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and other IT systems. Diagnose and resolve problems in a timely manner while maintaining solid follow-up communication.Provide on-site support across our facilities in CT as needed (Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich). On-site support is required when remote assistance isn’t possible.Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory on-prem and in the cloud (Office 365).Support the Quality department with some areas of the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system.Assist with cleanup of various systems; on-boarding and off-boarding users from systems as necessary.Create documentation and training materials for staff and internal use as required.Core Competencies:Experience with or working knowledge of any of the systems/hardware below is strongly preferred:Office 365 administrationActive Directory administration (on-prem)Windows Server/Client Operating Systems (Windows 10/11)Office 365 Desktop Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Electronic Health Record/Electronic Medical Record SystemsCisco SwitchesUbiquiti WiFiMeraki FirewallConnectWiseMDM (MaaS360, Apple Business Manager)MimecastCertifications/Licenses:CompTIA A , Cisco, Networking and/or other technical certifications preferred.
