Purpose: The purpose of this role is Managing inventory and assisting customer service and maintaining accurate records, coordinating with suppliers, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Locating and delivering materials for the formulation process includes retrieving necessary items, ensuring their quality, and documenting their movement to support continuous production and minimize downtime.
Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
• Maintaining Customer Inventory (daily):
o Regularly update and monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
o Track incoming and outgoing materials to maintain optimal stock levels.
o Identify and address any discrepancies in inventory records promptly.
• Communication between Customer Service Rep and Formulation Personnel (daily):
o Facilitate clear and consistent communication between customer service representatives and formulation staff.
o Share updates on inventory status, production schedules, and any potential issues.
o Coordinate to resolve customer inquiries and ensure timely responses.
• Conduct End Of Campaigns (daily):
o Review and finalize production campaigns at the end of each day.
o Ensure all materials used and produced are accurately recorded.
o Prepare reports summarizing the day's production activities and outcomes.
o Submit signed and dated handwritten Physical count sheets.
• Conduct Physical Inventory with Customer, CS Rep (annually):
o Organize and conduct a comprehensive physical inventory count with the customer and customer service representative.
o Verify the accuracy of inventory records against physical counts.
o Address any discrepancies and update records accordingly.
o Submit signed and dated handwritten Physical count sheets.
• Locate Materials and Supplies by Pulling and Verifying Materials and Supplies Listed on Production Orders, then Deliver the Materials to Production Formulation and Packaging Areas:
o Identify and retrieve materials and supplies as specified in production orders.
o Verify the accuracy and quality of materials before delivery.
o Ensure timely delivery of materials to the appropriate production and packaging areas.
• Conduct Shipment Requests:
o Process and fulfill shipment requests for outgoing materials and products.
o Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
o Maintain records of all shipments for tracking and accountability.
• Operate Forklift:
o Safely operate a forklift to move and transport materials within the facility.
o Load and unload materials from storage areas, trucks, and production lines.
o Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
