What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant PART TIME position at LI Urgent Care?
Busy Urgent Care looking for a friendly, kind and energetic full time medical assistant to join our team!
Urgent care experience preferred.
**MUST be able to work PART TIME & travel in between both locations!**
FULL SHIFTS ONLY- M-F OFFICE HOURS ARE 8-8PM & Sa-Su 9-5PM
- Manorville and West Babylon
**** EXPERIENCE IN PHLEBOTOMY IS A PLUS ****
Must be able to work some holidays and have weekend availability (alternating weekends is a must for full time scheduling). We are open 365 days out of the year.
Some duties but are not limited to...
- Phlebotomy
- Obtaining medical history and taking vital signs for patients
- Rapid testing: strep, flu, covid, urinalysis, EKG, RSV, glucose checks
- Must be comfortable with using an EMR system
- Must be able to move quickly but efficiently
- Checking in patients, collecting copays, answering phones
- Friendly and positive attitude working with providers and colleagues
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
