About the company: LI Script is a Long Term Care Pharmacy located in Woodbury, NY. We provide pharmaceutical services, products and care for residents of skilled nursing facilities, short term rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities and other long term care facilities on Long Island and throughout New York State. - Prepare sterile IV medications, including admixtures, TPNs, and antibiotics following established protocols under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Perform aseptic technique in compliance with United States Pharmacopeia <797> and <800> guidelines
- Accurately calculate dosages, measure ingredients, and compound medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Label and package medications for dispensing under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist
- Pulling and staging medications for Pharmacist check.
- Maintain and clean laminar airflow hoods, cleanrooms, and equipment
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly environmental monitoring and cleaning tasks
- Inspect final products for particulate matter, leaks, or contamination
- Manage inventory, including receiving, and proper storage of medications and supplies
- Document compounding activities and maintain accurate records
- Assist pharmacists with quality assurance and compliance audits
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and hazardous drug handling procedures
- Answer phones and assist nurses and other staff with requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Pharmacy Technician certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT) preferred but not required
- IV/sterile compounding training preferred however willing to train.
- Previous experience in sterile compounding or hospital/home infusion pharmacy strongly preferred however willing to train.
- Must be able to complete yearly competencies

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
