In This Role You Will
- Assist in the assembly and wiring of ATE systems based on engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Support the integration of ECUs, sensors, actuators, and other components into ATE setups.
- Learn to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Perform basic system testing and assist in troubleshooting under supervision.
- Help maintain documentation for builds and modifications.
- Follow established procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to gain exposure to system validation and testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory tracking.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a technical program in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic wiring practices.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Exposure to automotive communication protocols such as CAN or LIN (academic or project-based).
- Experience with wiring diagram tools like Rapid Harness or E3 (even at a basic level).
- Interest in scripting or automation using Python or similar languages.
- Previous internship or hands-on project experience in a lab or shop setting.
