SUMMARY:
Join our growing team! Real Salt Lake is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Grounds Crew at the Zions Bank Training Facility (ZBRA) in Herriman, Utah. This part-time position will report to the Sr. Director of Fields and Grounds and the Superintendent of Fields & Grounds ZBRA. Under their supervision, you will participate in the maintenance of common grounds, sports turf grass maintenance, and related work as required.
Applicants must be 18 years old or older. This is a 2026 seasonal role February – November.
RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:
- Pulling Weeds
- Trash Cleanup
- Hand Watering with Hoses
- Operate Rotary Mowers, Trimmers, Edgers, Blowers, and Utility Vehicles
- Granular Fertilization Applications
- Painting and Scrubbing Field Markings
- Irrigation Repairs
- Sod Installation
- Game/Event Setup
- Other Duties as Assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to take direction and multitask
- Possession of a valid driver's license and excellent driving record
- Ability to withstand loud noise level
- Ability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the teams’ schedules.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and attention to detail
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior landscaping experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 50 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
