LHI (Louisiana Homes, Inc.) is looking to hire compassionate Direct Care Workers in Hamtramck, MI!
As a part of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential support and care to adults with psychiatric disabilities, fostering their independence and improving their quality of life.
We are looking for 6 team members:
Two 1st/Morning Shift position (8:am - 4:30pm)
Two 2nd/Afternoon Shift position (4:00 pm - 12:30 am)
One 3rd/Midnight Shift position (12:00am - 8:30am)
Direct Care Worker positions start at $13 per hour without experience, wages are negotiable with experience.
Must have 3 years of experience.
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Direct Care Worker Training Part I, M.O.R.C or C.L.S Training.
- Valid driver's license
- Social Security Card
- Must be able to clear a background check
- Physical & TB Test (within the past year/12 months)
- DCW Training
- 1st Aid/CPR cards/certifications
- Proof of education (example: degree, diploma, GED, transcripts
