Controls Engineer II
Location: High Point, NC (Onsite, with 25% Travel)
Compensation Range: $85,000 - $105,000 Bonus Relocation Assistance
We're working with a growing manufacturing organization that's investing heavily in automation across multiple production facilities and is looking to add a Controls Engineer II to its engineering team.
This position reports directly to the VP of Engineering and will play a key role in supporting existing manufacturing operations while helping drive new automation initiatives across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Programming, troubleshooting, and supporting Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
- Developing and maintaining HMI and SCADA applications, primarily within Ignition and FactoryTalk environments
- Supporting equipment commissioning, startup, and integration projects
- Troubleshooting production issues and driving root cause analysis efforts
- Working closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Supporting plant modernization initiatives and introducing new automation technologies
- Developing dashboards, reporting, and visibility into manufacturing performance metrics
- Managing automation projects from concept through implementation
What They're Looking For
- 3-6 years of controls engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms
- Experience with Ignition and/or FactoryTalk
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
