About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established global organisation embarking on an exciting AI transformation journey. As part of a broader investment in digital innovation, data, and enterprise technology, they're looking to hire an AI Consultant to help shape how AI is adopted across the business.

This is an opportunity to join at the beginning of that journey. Working alongside the Data & AI Lead and senior business stakeholders, you'll identify high-value opportunities, design practical AI solutions, and drive adoption across multiple business functions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between technology and business. Rather than focusing on AI research or model development, you'll work closely with stakeholders to solve real operational challenges using modern AI technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions, workflows, copilots, intelligent agents, and automation initiatives.
• Design, prototype and implement AI solutions using Microsoft's AI ecosystem and leading generative AI technologies.
• Support the rollout of AI capabilities across departments including operations, supply chain, finance, sales and corporate functions.
• Collaborate with data, applications and technology teams to integrate AI into enterprise systems and business processes.
• Promote AI adoption through training, education and change management.
• Help establish AI governance, security and responsible AI practices.
• Measure and communicate the business impact of AI initiatives through clear operational and productivity improvements.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year you'll:

• Identify and prioritise high-impact AI opportunities across the organisation.
• Deliver practical AI solutions that reduce manual effort and improve productivity.
• Build scalable AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Increase AI adoption through training and stakeholder engagement.
• Help establish best practices for secure, responsible AI implementation.
• Demonstrate measurable business value through automation, improved reporting and operational efficiencies.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills.

You'll likely have experience in:

• Delivering enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives.
• Designing and implementing Generative AI solutions.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to solve operational challenges.
• Building AI solutions using Microsoft technologies including Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric.
• Integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, data platforms and ERP systems.
• Driving AI adoption, training users and leading organisational change.
